Limu Pressing in Honor of Dr. Abbott

The Office of Civic and Community Engagement with the American Association of University Women at UHM invite you to a limu (seaweed) pressing event to honor the late UH 惭腻苍辞补 Professor Isabella Abbott, in Ethnobotany. Abbott was considered the foremost authority on the algae of the Pacific Ocean basin and in 2008 she received a lifetime achievement award from the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources for her studies of coral reefs.
