Cultural Animation Film Festival 2023
October 13, 2023 - October 15, 2023Honolulu Campus, The Honolulu Museum of Art
The Cultural Animation Film Festival returns for its seventh year to showcase diverse animated films based on cultures around the world. See four different short film collections in person and online at our hybrid festival. This year, all programs will premiere in person at the Doris Duke Theatre. Films will be released online to the Eventive virtual theater 24 hours after each premiere鈥檚 start time until Wednesday, October 18.
CAFF is designed to showcase unique animated films based on the cultures of who we are. Our hope is that these films will shed a better light on who we are as a people. We also hope that CAFF will inspire animators both new and seasoned from around the world to create films and share their stories.
CAFF is presented in partnership with Twiddle Productions Inc. and Dr. Mary Therese Perez Hattori, Pacific Islands Development Program, East-West Center.
