Arbor Day Tree Giveaway
November 5, 7:00am - 10:00amMānoa Campus, Urban Garden Center, 955 Kamehameha Hwy. in Pearl City
Volunteers and staff at CTAHR's Urban Garden Center in Pearl City are partnering with Hawaiian Electric and Kaulunani Urban and Community Forestry Program to give away a variety of popular trees and shrubs on Saturday, November 5, at six sites across O芒鈧渁hu.
You can select from a variety of popular plants, including native plants, fruit trees, and flowering shrubs. Arborists and master gardeners will be on hand to answer your gardening questions, and you will receive a tree-planting guide.
Pick up your free plant芒鈧漮ne per family, while supplies last芒鈧漚t the following locations and times. Be sure to arrive early to avoid going home empty-handed!
Wai芒鈧渁nae: Hawaiian Electric Kahe Power Plant 芒鈧 7 a.m.
Pearl City: UH Urban Garden Center 芒鈧 7 a.m.
Honolulu: McKinley High/Community School for Adults 芒鈧 7 a.m.
Kailua: Hawaiian Electric Koolau Base Yard 芒鈧 7 a.m.
Wahiaw脛聛: Wahiawa Botanical Garden 芒鈧 9 a.m.
Haleiwa: Waimea Valley 芒鈧 9 a.m.
