Interdisciplinary Austronesian Connections Symposium

Do you happen to speak芒鈧漮r are you interested in芒鈧漚ny of the more than 1,200 Austronesian languages spoken around the world (http://www.ethnologue.com/subgroups/austronesian)? Have you thought about the connections between the people who speak those languages?

Please join us for the inaugural Interdisciplinary Austronesian Connections Symposium! During this free, one-day event, panels of scholars and community leaders will explore what it means to be an 芒鈧揂ustronesian person芒鈧 today and the critical issue of well-being in the region.

The Symposium will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 in Burns Hall 3121/3125 from 9AM to 6PM. The event is free and open to the public. However, due to limited seating in the venue, pre-registration is required. The deadline for pre-registration is Tuesday, March 31.
