2:00 pm
Campus Center Dining Room 203E (Located in Campus Center Food Court)

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is the United States’ government agency that leads international development and humanitarian assistance efforts to partner countries. We work together with individuals and communities in over 100 countries around the world to improve everyday lives by providing humanitarian assistance, reducing poverty, strengthening democratic governance, promoting health, advancing economic opportunities, and helping achieve progress beyond programs.

This information session is geared toward students, alumni and professionals interested in pursuing a career in international development or humanitarian assistance at USAID. The session will introduce the critical role of the agency and highlight USAID’s various sectors of work, with a particular focus on global health. The session will also cover different ways to enter into employment at USAID, including internships and fellowship programs. The session will include an open Q&A session. Participants can expect to leave the session with knowledge about how their particular areas of interest, expertise, or professional experience can be translated into work at USAID and options for entering into employment at the agency. To learn more about USAID and view career opportunities, visit https://www.usaid.gov/.

No sign-ups needed! Walk-ins welcome!

USAID will also be participating in the ²ÑÄå²Ô´Ç²¹ Career Center Fall Career Fair on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 10:00 am - 1:30 pm at the Campus Center Ballroom.
