Community Dialogues: 鈥淔inancial Literacy鈥 with Kera Wong-Miyasato

Join us for a facilitated 90 minute session during which you can engage with peers from diverse backgrounds, learn more about the use of dialogue as an effective method of communication, and practice those skills with your peers. The activities will accentuate and strengthen your understanding of conflict management and their implications for involvement with the community. ----------- About Session: Financial literacy means having the knowledge and skills needed to make financial decisions, which will promote your financial stability and well-being. Budgeting is the process of prioritizing your needs and obligations and assigning portions of your income toward those costs. ----------- About Speaker: Kera Wong-Miyasato, a graduate of UH 惭腻苍辞补 with a BBA and MBA, works as a financial advisor with AKAMAI Capital Advisors. She previously volunteered at the UH Financial Literacy Program, promoting financial literacy for future student success. Since the FLP was closed in 2020, Kera has been volunteering her time to give financial literacy presentations in its place.
