Presenter: Melody Kapilialoha MacKenzie JD is a Professor of Law Emerita and Founding Director of Ka Huli Ao Center for Excellence in Native Hawaiian Law at William S. Richardson School of Law. Objectives: 1) Learn and understand the history of the Public Land Trust and the importance of these 驶膩ina to the Native Hawaiian community and all of the people of Hawai驶i and 2) To learn about and understand the current laws and controversies related to the 驶膧ina Lei Aupuni and examine possible resolutions that ensure these 驶膩ina are stewarded now and into the future.
