"RECONSIDERING THE IDEOLOGY OF CREATIVITY IN J-POP AND DIY POLITICS IN THE DIGITAL AGE" by guest professor Dr. YOSHITAKA M艑RI (Tokyo University of the Arts). Prof. M艒ri revisits the ideology of creativity to examine the latest J-pop music in the 2010s, in particular, after the arrival of vocaloid culture. He also critically discusses post-capitalist sentiments and DIY culture which have appeared in contemporary digital music culture in Japan.
