The Voices of Men: Rediscovering the Mature Masculine (Virtual Event)
October 27, 8:30am - 10:30amMānoa Campus, QLCSS 211
In honor of October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM), N膩 Leo K膩ne will be engaging men as allies in preventing domestic violence through a primary prevention public health approach that stops the violence before it starts. Encouraging men to live into their authentic selves allows men to participate in healthy, equitable, and respectful relationships. Authentic masculinity, in part, means healthily connecting to one鈥檚 mind, emotions, physical body, and spirit. Our guest panelists will share how they practice these dimensions in their own lives and the critical role men can play in preventing domestic violence.
