Disability Studies Film Festival

The UH-Manoa Disability Studies Initiative is excited to announce its first Disability Studies Film Festival, Friday, September 30th from 10am - 12:30pm. The event is free and open to the public. It will be held virtually and in-person at the Kennedy Theatre on campus. We will be showing three short films: "The Interviewer," "My Disability Roadmap," and "K奴 Kanaka/Stand Tall." We will also have special guest speakers Gerard O鈥橠wyer, the actor from 鈥淭he Interviewer,鈥 and Marlene Booth, the Director of K奴 Kanaka. After our speakers present, there will be a Q&A session for the audience.
