The scientist who made the case for Hawai鈥榠 as rainbow capitol of the world in the Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society will talk about the science behind the fascinating phenomenon during a free hybrid program at 5 p.m. on Thursday June 16.

Participants can attend in person at the Agricultural Sciences Building Room 219 or via Zoom. Register to receive the link at
The Pau Hana presentation is co-sponsored by ARCS Foundation Honolulu Chapter, which distributes ARCS Scholar Award grants to outstanding UH Manoa doctoral students, including 2022 Atmospheric Sciences recipient T.J. Corrigan, a PhD student of Businger's.
