Critical Language Scholarship Program Online Info Session

The Critical Language Scholarship Program is a聽fully funded study abroad program聽sponsored by the U.S. Department of State that provides intensive overseas language and cultural immersion.聽It is open to U.S. students enrolled in聽all degree programs聽at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. The application for this opportunity opened recently and will close on November 17, 2020.聽We will have an online CLS Program information session for interested students with tips on preparing the application and insight from a former CLS Program alum.
CLS currently offers programs for the following languages:聽Arabic, Azerbaijani, Bangla, Chinese, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Portuguese, Punjabi, Russian, Swahili, Turkish and Urdu.
