Three Gods visit the earth to find just one mensch; one good person who will justify the world芒鈧劉s continuation. No good person in Schun. Kwan was a bust. Maybe they will have better luck in Setzuan. But how can a person be good while desperately struggling to make ends meet? Shen Te must sell herself to get by. Wang must sell water but can only do that if it芒鈧劉s not raining. Rug sellers peddle their wares. The Policeman instills his own order. Will the Gods ever find their mensch?
