P脛芦ko芒鈧渙ko芒鈧渙 2018 Conference

P脛芦ko芒鈧渙ko芒鈧渙 honors the importance of supporting our piko, which is grounded in Native Hawaiian traditions, customs, and practices, represented by the 芒鈧渁ho creating the piko of an 芒鈧渋e芒鈧渋e basket or the rope binding the 芒鈧渋ako to the ama of a canoe. The conference theme is based on the work of Noelani Goodyear-Ka脢禄脜聧pua芒鈧劉s 芒鈧揜eproducing the Ropes of Resistance: Hawaiian Studies Methodologies.芒鈧

P脛芦ko脢禄oko脢禄o 2018 will provide a unique platform to weave projects, teaching, and research within one of four 芒鈧渁ho of aloha 芒鈧溍劼乮na and to consider and extend what Hawaiian scholarship is and what it is to be a 芒鈧揌awaiian Place of Learning.芒鈧
