P脛芦ko芒鈧渙ko芒鈧渙 honors the importance of supporting our piko, which is grounded in Native Hawaiian traditions, customs, and practices, represented by the 芒鈧渁ho creating the piko of an 芒鈧渋e芒鈧渋e basket or the rope binding the 芒鈧渋ako to the ama of a canoe. The conference theme is based on the work of Noelani Goodyear-Ka脢禄脜聧pua芒鈧劉s 芒鈧揜eproducing the Ropes of Resistance: Hawaiian Studies Methodologies.芒鈧
P脛芦ko脢禄oko脢禄o 2018 will provide a unique platform to weave projects, teaching, and research within one of four 芒鈧渁ho of aloha 芒鈧溍劼乮na and to consider and extend what Hawaiian scholarship is and what it is to be a 芒鈧揌awaiian Place of Learning.芒鈧
