Harry Tsuchidana (b. 1932 Waipahu, O芒鈧渁hu) is one of Hawaii芒鈧劉s noted and prolific living artists. This exhibition features over 80 works on paper from the artist芒鈧劉s personal collection. While his paintings have received much-deserved attention in several solo and group exhibitions, this is only the second presentation that foregrounds his works on paper.
Rod Bengston, as curator, selected the works in this exhibition. In conversations with Tsuchidana, Bengston identitifed seventeen themes and expressions芒鈧漵ome of which the artist returned to again throughout decades of his investigations.
