Welfare and Work: Reintegrating "Invalids"into Soviet Kyrgyzstan

On April 18 we have a very special guest who is going to present his research on Russian history. Michael Corsi is currently a graduate student at the University of Hawai脢禄i at M脛聛noa. He has successfully defended his Master芒鈧劉s Thesis and will graduate this Spring. His thesis focuses on the outbreak of plague in the Russian Far East from roughly the period 1860-1911, which roughly corresponds to the outbreak of the Third Plague Pandemic to the climax of the Great Manchurian Plague in Russia and China.
