From Global to Local: The Melbourne Women芒鈧劉s Fund and the Collective Giving

Please join the East-West Center and Gillian Hund, Co-founder of the Melbourne Women芒鈧劉s Fund, for a brown-bag talk about how her organization works to educate and empower women of all ages, interests, backgrounds, and financial means to become philanthropists in their community.

The Melbourne Women芒鈧劉s Fund is inspired by the Washington Women芒鈧劉s Foundation in Seattle, Washington, whose Collective Giving model has seeded more than 40 other such funds in the U.S., China, and Australia. The Melbourne Women芒鈧劉s Fund seeks to create a better life and future for the women and families of Melbourne by promoting philanthropy, raising awareness, investing in change, and empowering futures.

Gillian Hund is Co-founder of the Melbourne Women芒鈧劉s Fund, Grants Administration Officer at the Jack Brockhoff Foundation, and Chair of the Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria Foundation. Gillian has a master芒鈧劉s degree in Social Investment and Philanthropy from Swinburne University, Melbourne, Australia.
