We are exploring the role mobility is playing in students芒鈧劉 life. The research entails the interest in young people experiencing the global changes, transnational connectivity and technological changes referring to digital communication and mass mediation in their everyday practices.

The main aim of the project is to discover how the ability of individuals to cope with social challenges is reflected through their reflexivity and attachments to local and transnational environment, with a particular emphasis on the social networks. Deploying a combination of quantitative methods and qualitative research methods, the project will contrast the narratives of mobile and non-mobile students.

The triangulation of the research will offer new insight on the theoretical perspectives and advanced framework for considering reflexive capacities of individuals. Thus, it will offer new perspectives on the dynamic interplay between structural contexts and individual deliberations in the national and transnational context and encourage further empirical and practical considerations of the increasingly important issue within contemporary humanities and social sciences.
