PUBLIC LECTURE 芒鈧揂 flower with five petals芒鈧: Professional development for junior faculty in Chinese universities
In this presentation, Dr. Huajun Xiong will discuss current challenges faced by 18 Chinese universities in the northwest minorities region of the country in improving the teaching ability of their junior faculty. His research has so far led to possible models of professional development approaches using the analogies of 芒鈧揻lower with five petals芒鈧 and 芒鈧搃rrigation芒鈧. Dr. Huajun Xiong is a Professor of higher education at the School of Education, Northwest Normal University, Lanzhou, China. He is currently a visiting scholar hosted by the Department of Educational Foundations until January 9, 2017.
