The HIP mission is to free the staggering number of innocent people who remain incarcerated, and to bring reform to the system responsible for their unjust imprisonment.
The HIP is a law school clinic founded at the William S. Richardson School of Law dedicated to freeing the innocent, training law students, and changing laws and policies in the state of Hawai芒鈧渋. HIP provides free legal assistance to Hawai芒鈧渋 prisoners with substantiated claims of actual innocence in seeking exoneration.
Please join us as the HIP will be discussing eyewitness identification as a cause for many wrongful convictions!
