Population aging has increasingly become a worldwide social phenomenon. To better understand the aging process and to encourage healthy aging beyond physical health and disabilities, scholars in the field of Social Gerontology introduced a new concept called "resilient aging."
UH M脛聛noa is hosting a special conference featuring local and international experts from Duke University, Federal University of Rio Grande de Norte, Michigan State University, New York University, Nihon University, Peking University, Portland State University, Tunghai University, UH M脛聛noa, University of Texas and University of Utah to share their research ideas and empirical findings on various topics concerning aging.
Conference topics include: 芒鈧 Healthy and Resilient Aging: New findings 芒鈧 Ethnic Differences in Aging and Health in the United States 芒鈧 Age-friendly Cities 芒鈧 Aging in the Context of Hawai芒鈧渋 芒鈧 Dementia and Caring for Elders with Dementia 芒鈧 Resilient Aging in Asian Societies
