Join veteran presenter/storyteller Krissie Kellogg under the never cloudy dome of the H脜聧k脜芦lani Imaginarium on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. as she leads a delightful Stargazing tour of the night sky. Stay informed as the stars, planets and moon change while they move through Space, learn about current celestial events such as meteor showers and eclipses, and hear details about Space exploration.
Admission Prices
- $7 General admission
- $6 WCC students, military, seniors (65 years or older) with identification
- $5 Children (4 - 12 years of age)
- Free for children under 4 years of age (1 per paying adult), and WCC faculty or staff with university identification.
For reservations call (808) 235-7433 between 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. (Phone line is not available on weekends or holidays.) Reserved tickets must be picked up and paid for at the Imaginarium box office at least 15 minutes prior to start of program; unclaimed tickets are released for sale to waiting customers on a first come, first served basis. Credit and debit cards are not accepted at the box office. An ATM is located on campus behind the Imaginarium building, next to The Hub coffee shop.
The H脜聧k脜芦lani Imaginarium is a high-tech, multi-media planetarium and scientific visualization theater under the management of the College芒鈧劉s Center for Aerospace Education (CAE). The Imaginarium supports the College芒鈧劉s astronomy and Polynesian navigation curricula and community outreach efforts; its fulldome video projection technology covers the entire overhead dome surface, allowing an immersive experience that fills the viewer芒鈧劉s 360脗潞 field of view. The facility is available for K-12 school visits as well as group and public shows.
