Women芒鈧劉s Studies at the University of Hawai芒鈧渋 is celebrating a significant milestone芒鈧漣ts 40th anniversary. Recently evaluated as one of top Women芒鈧劉s Studies Programs in the United States by external evaluators, it is time for the ten campuses that are part of the University to look back at our history, while also imagining a much bolder future for women芒鈧劉s and gender studies in Hawai芒鈧劉i and the Pacific. As our capstone event for this celebration, we are having a panel discussion: titled, "Looking Forward, Looking Backward 40 Years of Women芒鈧劉s Studies at the University of Hawaii," featuring our students past and present. These students, including State Representative Cynthia Thielen, will be discussing their experiences as women芒鈧劉s studies students.
