"Decolonial Futures in South Asia and Beyond" - 2015 UH CSAS Sympoisum

The UH Center for South Asian Studies is hosting a symposium titled "Decolonial Futures in South Asia and Beyond," which will be from April 16th-17th in Hamilton Library, room 401. Along with three panels, there will be keynote addresses from Himadeep Muppidi, Vassar College, (芒鈧揂nticolonial Intimacies芒鈧), Ned Bertz, UHM Dept. of History (芒鈧揋round Between Two Millstones": Interrogating Decolonial Pasts in Indian Ocean History), and Vivek Bald, MIT (芒鈧揝ilences, Exclusions, and Everyday Lives: Documenting the Histories of South Asians in the U.S.芒鈧).

There will also be a keynote multimedia reading by journalist and writer Gaiutra Bahadur based on her book 'Coolie Woman' (芒鈧揌er Middle Passage: The Journey of Indian Women in Indenture芒鈧).
