"Decolonial Futures in South Asia and Beyond" - 2015 UH CSAS Sympoisum

The UH Center for South Asian Studies is hosting a symposium titled "Decolonial Futures in South Asia and Beyond," which will be from April 16th-17th in Hamilton Library, room 401. Along with three panels, there will be keynote addresses from Himadeep Muppidi, Vassar College, (芒鈧揂nticolonial Intimacies芒鈧), Ned Bertz, UHM Dept. of History (芒鈧揋round Between Two Millstones": Interrogating Decolonial Pasts in Indian Ocean History), and Vivek Bald, MIT (芒鈧揝ilences, Exclusions, and Everyday Lives: Documenting the Histories of South Asians in the U.S.芒鈧).
There will also be a keynote multimedia reading by journalist and writer Gaiutra Bahadur based on her book 'Coolie Woman' (芒鈧揌er Middle Passage: The Journey of Indian Women in Indenture芒鈧).
