A Workshop on Program Learning Outcomes Assessment
Graduate programs at UHM have established systems to evaluate and track individual students through mechanisms such as scholarly paper readers, thesis/dissertation committees, and student progress reports. Program can harness these evaluations and make judgments about student learning at the program level for the purpose of program improvement. In this workshop, participants will learn:
-Program learning outcome assessment practices in graduate programs
-Tools and strategies to harness individual student evaluation for program assessment
-How to make assessment plans based on program context
