Dr. Carl Evensen, Interim Director of Lyon Arboretum, will discuss the basics of water management in your garden, including channeling and using runoff water, protecting your soil, plant selection, water conservation and other green landscaping practices. Practices such as raingardens, bioswales, infiltration beds, rain barrels, and greywater use will be emphasized in this informative class designed for concerned Hawai`i residents and gardeners. Class fee $15.
