"Reflecting on Peace: From the Perspectives of World War 2" with Jett Zentho

About Session: Learn about the many viewpoints on peace education depending on the perspectives of World War 2. This will include an in-depth discussion of the cross-cultural student perspective on the current effectiveness of peace education and the future vision of how we can better integrate peace education into everyday life going forward. ------------------------ About Jett Zenthoefer: Jett Zenthoefer is originally from Centennial, Colorado. He is studying Marketing, International Business, and Economics, as well as pursuing an Undergraduate Certificate in Peace Studies and Peace Corp Prep Certificate with the plan of attending law school after he graduates. Jett is currently the President of the International Business Organization, and works closely with the University of Hawai‘i Study Abroad Center to help encourage students to take opportunities around the world. ------------------------ About José Barzola: José Barzola has a passion for creating social change through nonviolence, nurturing relationships that transcend cultural barriers, and focusing on issues of diversity, inclusion, and equity. He is a highly organized higher education administrator with over 20 years of experience and success in administration, student development within academic and student affairs. José has also been an affiliate faculty teaching courses on peace and conflict transformation, a professional mediator and facilitator for over 10 years both in New York and Hawaii.
