This panel will address the fieldwork and positionality of experienced researchers and PhD students who have conducted field research in Southeast Asia. Panelists will explore how Western scholars conduct field research in Southeast and Southeast Asian scholars studying ethnic minorities and Indigenous peoples in their home country.
