Information Session for SUM 24' Smithsonian Native Hawaiian Arts Internship

Join us for an information session to learn about the Summer 2024 Native Hawaiian Arts Internship through the Smithsonian's Folklike Festival. The Smithsonian Folklife Festival is seeking two interns with an interest in or connection to Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander communities to join the curatorial team and support the 2024 program Indigenous Voices of the Americas. This information session features La驶akea Ai (UHM Anthropology Almuna Spring 22', Summer 23' Native Hawaiian Arts Internship participant, & currently the Digital Humanities Specialist at the Bishop Museum) as well as the Smithsonian Folklife Festival Assistant Curator, Natalie Solis. Q&A session to follow. Application for the internship must be submitted no later than April 10th, 2024.
