The Office of Civic and Community Engagement with the American Association of University Women at UHM invite you to a limu (seaweed) pressing event to honor the late UH ²ÑÄå²Ô´Ç²¹ Professor Isabella Abbott, in Ethnobotany. Abbott was considered the foremost authority on the algae of the Pacific Ocean basin and in 2008 she received a lifetime achievement award from the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources for her studies of coral reefs.
