Korea Peace Week

April 24, 2023 - April 28, 2023
Mānoa Campus, Campus Center

This year marks the 70th year of the Korean War's ceasefire. A peace treaty has yet to come. The continuous hostility between the governments of North Korea, South Korea, and the United States has contributed to the conditions of militarism, authoritarianism, and impoverishment not only in East Asia but also across the world. We are still affected by the on-going Cold War ideology, policy, and culture. Korea Peace Now University of Hawaii Chapter is dedicating next week as Korea Peace Week. Join our efforts to construct a pathway toward a peace treaty to end the Korean War.
