The Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program coordinates and promotes opportunities for undergraduate students across ALL DISCIPLINES at UH ²ÑÄå²Ô´Ç²¹ to engage in faculty-mentored research and creative work.

UROP is hosting three hybrid information sessions (in-person and via Zoom) on UROP funding opportunities and programs that all students, staff, and faculty on campus are encouraged to attend.

General Information Session:

  • Intended Audience: Students, faculty and staff interested in learning more about UROP’s various funding opportunities
  • Date/Time: Wednesday, January 25, 2:30pm-3:30pm
  • Location: Moore Hall 104 & Zoom

Entering Research and Creative Work (ERC) Funding Information Session

  • Intended Audience: Undergraduate students early in their academic careers with little to no research or creative work experience that are motivated to start exploring research or creative work with a faculty mentor; Faculty interested in mentoring students; and staff
  • Date/Time: Thursday, January 26, 10:30am-11:30am
  • Location: Moore Hall 104 & Zoom

Project Funding Information Session

  • Intended Audience: Undergraduate students interested in conducting faculty-mentored research or creative work; Faculty interested in mentoring students; and staff
  • Date/Time: Friday, January 27, 11:30am-12:30pm
  • Location: Moore Hall 104 & Zoom
