Storytime in the Garden

Families with keiki ages 4 through 7 are invited to join us for Lyon Arboretum’s new event, “Storytime in the Garden.” We will start by reading aloud from one of our favorite kids’ books, and after the story is over we will explore our garden together on a brief walk. Each month will bring a new storybook and new connections to find between the story and our garden.
Advanced registration and payment (both through Eventbrite) is required. Each keiki must be accompanied by an adult. (Only one adult per family is required to attend.)
Please come prepared to enjoy the Arboretum in rain or shine. We recommend – Required: Comfortable shoes with good traction – Optional but recommended: Mask to wear in the Visitors Center – Optional but recommended: Long pants or leggings (to keep mosquitoes off) – Optional but recommended: Mosquito repellent if possible. – Optional but recommended: Rain jacket or poncho if possible. – Optional: Water bottle and a hat with a brim if the weather has been hot and sunny – Optional: Snack
Price: $10 per child (one adult must attend with each child. A single parent can attend with multiple children. No fee for children under 4.)
